I'm interested in a long haired kitten mostly but would consider a cat.
I already have 2 cats but I'm ready to add a new addition to the family.
If any of you members know of any long haired cuties let me know!

Hi Everyone,

Just thought I'd pass the word along about our rescue group. We are a small but growing rescue near Milwaukee that takes in unwanted or neglected reptiles and small exotics, and then adopt them out to approved homes.

WE DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS.

Feel free to look around our website and contact us with any questions.

Thanks.

Two ferts in Milwaukee, WI need a home ASAP!

Hi, all. Hope this is an appropriate post. I just would like to find these little ones good homes within the ferret-loving community. Forgive me if you've seen this crossposted!

Found an add on myspace for two ferrets who need a home as their person is apparently moving. Very few details provided, but the ferts look healthy and fairly young. I contacted this fellow through Myspace to ask if they were still available, what the sexes were, names, ages, habits, etc.

I didn't get any answers to my questions back, just that they "get out about an hour most days" and don't have any behavioural issues.

I don't mean to be critical but, while these ferts sound like they'll be okay, he doesn't sound like the most dedicated ferret owner, and I'm afraid he'll give them up to a not-so-good home since he "has to get rid of them soon."

He's asking $185 for both w/a big cage (maybe Superpet?) and all accessories.

I wish so much I could take these guys, but we really can't handle more than four in the apartment we're in now...

If somebody can help them or knows someone who can, PLEASE email me directly (tess.grey at gmail dot com OR ptfurkids at yahoo dot com--please do NOT try to contact me through livejournal; I can't be on much at work!) and I'll give you his phone number and info. He says just to call if you want to arrange a pick-up time.

Free to new home, cage can be included.

Sex: Female
Breed: Mini Lop
Color: Black/Sable
Location: Monroe Area

She is a great rabbit who needs a good home. Would make a great 4-H project for a young member. She has bad markings and no papers but would give 4-H youth good experience. Vet cleared to move, no health problems. Experience in rabbits prefered but not required(will teach).

Notes: This Ball Python is about 42" long. It come in with an interesting life experience. From August 2002-November 2002 it lived in the seat of a car in Wisconsin. It had gotten out and made its's way up into the back of the car seat and it's previous owner thought that it was gone forever. It was found and has been with us for awhile now. Feeding has gotten much better since we have had it and it hasn't refused a frozen/thawed rat in some time now.
